Title:Great expectations

Author:Charles Dickens

When Pip was a small boy at Joe Gargery's forge, he meets to people who affected his life .An escaped convict he is forced to help, and the eccentric Miss Haversham, whose beautiful cowld ward Estella Pip adores.When someone pays him to go to London to become a gentlemen, Pip never dreams he willl meet the dreadful Magwitch again, nor did he expect how wrong his 'great expectations' were.

Main characters:Pip, Joe Gargery, Estella

Pip:timid

Joe:not very interlligent(had a drawback in his learning),forgiving

Estella:Proud, insulting, cold.

Each character has a rather unigue personality, so it is likely to 'convince'the reader to read on as their personalities do not seem to 'get along'.The relationship between Estella and Pip were not very good, and Miss haversham wants Pip to love her as if it was a curse, Pip did adore her, but it does not seem as if they can get along.

I think the writer is trying to tell us that sometimes when you see rude or mean people who seem to not like you, they may be friendly and kind inside.

I learnt that you should have various personalities of your characters but you may want to customize them.

Style of writing:The writer uses complex sentences, but he is able to use them well.
E.G:I had so much time to spare, that the proposal came as a relief, not withstanding its irreconcilability with my latest desire to keep my eye on the coach-office.

b)Some of the sentences are quite decriptive
She was dressed in rich materials-satins, and lace, and silks-all of white.Her shoes were white. And she had a long white veil dependent from her hair, and she had bridal flowers in her hair, but her hair was white.

This story was not very entertaining, but it was quite decriptive
