"Alright class today we're going to go though about the food chains of animals and plants"Mr Lim said in his monotonous voice.The class moaned as if they were suffering.Mr Lim was one of the most boring science teacher I have ever known.Fortunately, I was quite interested in science so I didn't fall alseep thoughout the entire lesson unlike some of the students.I found out that the food chain was quite interesting, learning about the food relationships and transfer of energy in the producers and consumers.
When class was over, while I was packing up my horribly untidy bag, I felt someone tap my back.I glanced behind and saw Jake, he was rubbing his eyes and I could tell he slept like a log thoughout the science lesson."You slept during science class didn't you?"
"Wow, you're good."he said, surprised.He continued,"Want to join me for a quick game of soccer?"
"Hmm.... let me see....."I said, while I emptied the contents in my bag."Well its your lucky day Jake, I haven't got any work to do."
Jake grinned."meet you after lunch."At 1.30 pm. I met Jake and his few friends.We were about to start our game of soccer when Jake sundenly snapped his fingers and said,"Oh snap!I forgot all about my ball."
"What?!How can we have a game of soccer without a ball?"I exclaimed in disbelief.Sometimes he was so forgetful.
Jake said that he most likely left it at the school canteen so thats where he and I went, while the others waited.When we got back our ball and were walking to the field, a man walked towards as and he kept looking into our eyes."Hey is it just me, or is that man spying on us?"Jake asked.
"Beats me."I replied.I had to admit, the man looked suspicious.Everything on him was black, black jeans,black shirt even black hat and shoes.I was starting to wonder if he was colour blind or something when he sundenly came charging towards us and he took out a metal crowbar and held it in his hands.Jake and I stood there rooted to the ground, dumbfounded.Just when I realised what was happening, he hit me in the face with the crowbar and I was out cold.
I open my eyes,"Agh, what a bad dream, thats the worst one I had in my 12 years!"I said.
"That wasn't the worst nightmare in your life, neither is this, it really happened."Ben said.Apparently he was sitting on the floor next to me.
"Ben!Where are we?"I asked.
"Basically, we been kidnapped, I'm guessing by that strange man.I don't thing theres a way out of this hut.The door's locked and the walls are too thick."He hunched,sounding like a detective.I looked around the hut.Nothing much we could use in the hut to escape, a rubber band, a fishing line, a crowbar, some pieces of paper and a screwdriver broken to at least ten pieces.
"A pity the screwdriver is broken, or we could get out immediately."I said, the screwdriver was our only hope, unfortunately its broken.
"We still can escape,"Jake said with a smug grinn.He took a small bottle from his pocket.I read the label, it said"super glue".
"Do you sniff glue?Because I'm a anti drug ambassador in the school, you can tell me your problems."I joked.
"Haha very funny."Jake said with sarcasm, fixing the screwdriver."There we are."He said, holding the fixed screwdriver in his hand.
I grabbed the screwdriver from his hand and unlocked the door."Alright lets go!"I shouted and we sprinted.We made such a mad dash that we didn't even notice the two kidnappers guarding the door.
"Boss, were those two our hostages"The parthner in crime asked.The other kidnapper didn't reply.He just grabbed his M16a2 assault rlfe and passed a shotgun to the other.
Jake and I were both nimble runners.We continued running rentlessly on the gravel road.The moonlight shone on us.We hid in the desne forest for a brief amount of timeJust when we were about to run.We heard the kidnappers furiously commanding us to stop.To our relief, a police car was partrolling the area.Jake and I were about to get to the police car when we heard a loud yell behind us.One of the kidnappers was right behind me and was about to slam me.I dodged his punch and kicked him in the stomach.The kidnapper yelled in agony while the other tried to catch with us.
"Haha, nice move, where did you learn it?"Jake asked, but I did not reply as I was too busy running.
The police car was leaving the forest, frotunately our shouts and cries to gesture them to stop got their attention.The car made a U-Turn and came towards us.Jake and I gave a quick summary about what happened.
The police officers immediately sprang into action.The two kidnappers both caught sight of the police officers and us."Bring it!"One of the kidnappers shouted.
The police officers pulled out their guns and confronted the kidnappers.The kiddnappers still persisted.Gunshots rattled in the air as the kidnappers knelt down to surrender.
"Thank you kiddos, you two just help us catch two of the most notorious, cold blooded kidnappers around!Oh yes, want to be a policeman when you grow up?"The twenty plus years old policeman asked,giving me a nudge.
"No thanks, I think I'll pass."I said.

Oral Picture(stairs)
This picture shows a scene of a school staircase.There are currently many students and teachers using the staircase.It is most likely recess time.
Scenario 1(wrong and consequnce):A boy is dashing down the stairs and has collided with a teacher, causing her books to drop down the stairs.I feel that what the boy is doing is wrong as he may injure himself or collide into others and may cause serious injuries.I remember that a boy in my school once fractured his right arm while simply walking down the stairs.The boy is also causing alot of trouble, as the books have dropped and the students have to help pick them up.If I was the boy, I will immediately help pick up the books.
Scenario 2:(cause and effect):Two pupils are at the bottom of the stairs trying to help pick up the books that the teacher has dropped.I feel that they are doing something good as the teacher will not have to pick up the books by herself and waste even more time.It would be great if there were more people like them.
Scenario 3:(cause and effect):A man, likely a teacher, is signalling the boy to stop running immediately as he may injure himself or others.
In my opinion, we must all observe safety rules at all times, in order to prevent injuries.We should start obeying safety rules and let others pick up the habit.

scenario 1(wrong and consequnce):There are two boys playing football at a corner.They seem to be enjoying themselves with wide smiles on their faces.Although they are having a fun time, what they are doing is wrong as they are playing at an area with many obstructions.They may damage the school property or even hurt someone else.I suggest that they go to somewhere with no obstructions to play, they may even have a whale of a time there.

Scenario 2(wrong and consequnce):There is a small boy and girl looking at a cake.I think they are hungry and are very eager to get the cake.However,beside the cake, there is a knife.This is very dangerous as the young children may not know how to handle such cutlery.
Scenario 3(normal):Two adults, both wearing long seleves, are placing a variety of food on the table.They are likely to be preparing for the party
Scenario 4(wrong and consequnce):Behind the adults, two children are fighting over a present.This is dangerous as one of them may fall and hurt themselves, their arguement and fighting may also disturb or irrtate others.Perherps one of them forgot to buy a present and has to try to take one.If I was the one who forgot to bring the present, I would confess and tell the truth, so there would not be anymore trouble.

oral picture 1(beach)
This picture dipicts a scene of a beach, alot of people are at the beach and seem to be enjoying themselves.I think it is a weekend as there are alot of children.
Scenario1(normal):There is a lady sitting down on the beach stuming a guitar.A young girl is sitting on a mat wit a wide smile.She seems to be enjoying listening to the lady .The lady stumming the guitar may inspire the girl to become a musician. I think they are mother and daughter.
Scenario 2(normal)Two girls are using sand and some beautiful shells to make a sandcastle.I have made one before and I know how fun it is. A boy is running towards them with a bucket and spade.He may be bringing in water to make the sandcastle more firm.
Scenario 4(wrong and consequnce):A young girl is riding on a float in the sea.A boy is chasing after her and the girl is pedalling away from him.I think they are playing tag and seem to be enjoying themselves.However, it is dangerous as the young girl may fall of the float and drown.There should be an adult to supervise them.

Book review 3
Tittle:Facing The Lion(non-friction, true story)
Author:Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton
Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton grew up in a village in northern Kenya.
He wanted to go to a school to learn.When the government of Kenya issued a law that at least one normadic child must be sent to school.Unfortunately, his father had to choose Lmatarion, the second son as the elder son had to stay and Joseph was too young.After the first day, Lmatarion couldn't bear the suffering with school and hid in a hyena hole.The police found him 3 days later.Joseph volunteered to go to school when the police asks his father to send a child to school.Because there were no ID cards in Kenya.The police could not tell how old he actually was.They belived him after he touched their ears and reached the head.So he made it into school.
People in Kenya actually have no cash.In fact they use cows as cash.They don't buy things with cows.They use them to make food and the fact that Joseph whose living in such harsh coditions can actually learn and become sucessful.
I know that people long ago used rocks as cash.The bigger your rocks the more its worth. But the people in Kenya have a close concept.The more cows you have, the richer you are.The cows provide food, beef and hides for them.It's amazing that joseph who is from such poor country can go to a university in New York.
EG:They give us milkand blood and sometimes meat to eat and hides to wear.They are our wealth.We don't have money:we have cows.
Although they is not much action, the story is very unique, talking about the persons life.

Superkids
In the camp I learnt lots of this like how to remember chapters with a few words and pictures and about our left and right brain.Its also quite interesting the fact that your brain can remember pictures and short 'movies' easier than words and sentences.
The camp really helped me, it helped me made certain decisions like what kind of friend I should mix with and showed me my strength and weaknesses.
Speaking of friends, Candice showed us which friends we should mix with.Basically, if you mix with a crab fwend, he/she will not help you in our studies, in fact they might pull you down with them.There is also the fruit fly fwend, they are the eagles and not the sheep.They take 100% responsiblity and never give up.Candice said that it isn't wrong to mix with a playful friend, but make sure he/she doesn't distract you in your work.But when it comes to play, he/she will be a good role model in playing! So we must choose our FWENDS WISELY.
I also learnt that our parents are the ones we should care for.They will want to be with us forever, but they will have to leave you soon.So we should treasure our parents now, before its to late.When they leave, we must be inderpendent and take care of ourselves.
